     The World Health Grand Award (abbreviated as WHGA) is initiated and established by the World Health Industry Association (abbreviated as WHIA). Registered in the United States as an international non-profit public welfare organization, WHIA holds consultative NGO status with the UN Economic and Social Council and qualifies for access to platforms including the UN Partner Portal and UN Global Marketplace. Drawing on its long-standing experience in global health governance, WHIA has submitted three systematic project proposals to relevant UN bodies: UN Global Health & Human Wellbeing Initiative, UN Global Health Action · Industrial Coordinated Development Program, and UN Holistic Health Governance · Sustainable Development Project. The developmental philosophy behind these projects forms the underlying logic for the launch of this award.

     The World Health Grand Award is founded for two primary purposes: to identify practitioners delivering long-term value across the global health sector and set replicable benchmarks for the whole industry; and to build regular channels enabling outstanding candidates to access resources within the UN system, thereby driving overall quality upgrading of the global health industry. Rooted in the definition of health laid out in the UN Charter, the Award defines health not merely as the absence of physical illness, but as complete well-being covering physical, mental and social dimensions. It also aligns closely with the Good Health and Well-being target under the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Instead of focusing superficially on product appearances or business models, its evaluation framework prioritizes tangible contributions made by applicants to improving public health conditions and people’s overall quality of life.

Open to all health-related entities worldwide, the Award accepts applications from diverse applicants including enterprises, institutions, brands, physical products, technological projects, wellness services and individual practitioners across the sector. It adopts a dual evaluation mechanism featuring regular quarterly assessments plus annual excellence selection, with four rounds of application collection and evaluation conducted throughout each calendar year. Three award tiers are granted according to comprehensive scoring results under a strict principle of quality-over-quantity — relevant tiers will remain vacant if minimum score thresholds cannot be met.

     • Silver Award (70–79 points): Recipients meet basic operational criteria of the health industry and possess steady room for growth and upgrading;
     • Gold Award (80–89 points): Winners stand out as high-caliber benchmarks with cross-regional leading influence within the industry;
     • Platinum Award (90–100 points): Recipients represent the highest standard of health practices among all participants in the given evaluation cycle.

     An annual award ceremony will be held between the end of each year and early the following year to confer official honors on all quarterly winners of the year. Annual special honors titled Annual Outstanding Awards will be selected exclusively from Gold and Platinum laureates, forming a complete honor progression system spanning quarterly recognition and annual advancement.
