World Healthy Industry Association (official full legal name: WORLD HEALTH INDUSTRY ASSOCIATION, abbreviated as WHIA) is an international non-profit legal entity registered with the Colorado Secretary of State under provisions 7-122-101 and 7-122-102 of the Colorado Revised Statutes (C.R.S.) of the United States. It holds independent legal person status, enabling it to sign cooperation documents in accordance with laws, carry out cross-border industrial exchanges, and bear civil rights and liabilities independently. The global headquarters of the Association is located in Denver, Colorado, USA. It focuses on linking resources across the entire global big health industrial chain, promotes the co-construction of industrial standards, the implementation of cross-border collaborations and the exchange of high-quality resources, so as to facilitate steady and sustainable development of the global big health industry.

1. Founding Background
Since the start of the 21st century, the big health sector has evolved into one of the core tracks driving global economic growth. It covers diverse segmented fields including biomedicine, medical devices, health and wellness services, functional nutrition, digital health, public health and the internationalization of traditional Chinese medicine, featuring continuous expansion of industrial scale together with surging demands for cross-border technology circulation, project cooperation, brand globalization and standard coordination.
Nevertheless, prevalent challenges remain across the industry: uneven paces of industrial development among countries and regions, fragmented channels for cross-border cooperation, a scarcity of consensus-based industrial standards, and barriers preventing efficient connection of high-quality resources. The industry is in urgent need of a third-party platform with international compliance credentials and non-profit attributes to undertake public functions including industrial research, academic exchanges, resource matchmaking, cultivation of industrial honors and construction of international channels. Against such industrial trends, World Healthy Industry Association was formally incorporated. Committed to deep cultivation in the global big health sector, it builds a regular international collaboration network and delivers long-term support for the globalization of entities within the global health industry.

2. Registration Status and Legal Personality
The Association was jointly initiated and founded by senior practitioners, academic researchers and industrial institutions engaged in big health across multiple regions worldwide, and maintains stable and compliant operation status after formal non-profit legal entity registration in Colorado. Its internal bylaws clearly define operational principles: all proceeds generated from institutional operations are retained within the organization exclusively for positive undertakings including big health industrial research, international exchanges, industrial empowerment and non-profit promotion. No profit distribution shall be made to founders, directors or managerial staff, consistently adhering to the founding tenet as a non-profit organization.

The Association adopts collective decision-making via the Board of Directors, featuring standardized governance structure and transparent financial operations. All operational activities proceed in strict accordance with its registered bylaws to secure long-term stable institutional development.

3. Filing Qualifications within the UN System
The Association has completed institutional filing and admission into multiple platforms under the UN system, laying a foundational pathway to access multilateral resources of the UN ecosystem. Due to differentiated formatting rules across individual platforms, variations in capitalization can be observed in its English name (fully uppercase WORLD HEALTH INDUSTRY ASSOCIATION on US registration documents, capitalized initials for content words in the ECOSOC roster, and fully uppercase display on the UN Partner Portal). However, word spelling and sequence remain identical across all versions, referring to one single legal entity. Three UN-system filing qualifications are held as follows:

(1) Enrolled in the Roster of Non-Governmental Organizations under the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC)
The Association has completed roster registration with the UN NGO Committee of ECOSOC, becoming a roster-listed NGO affiliated to ECOSOC. It is eligible to participate in health-themed conferences, industrial seminars and multilateral thematic exchanges open to roster NGOs hosted by ECOSOC and its subordinate bodies, deeply integrating into global health governance exchanges and expanding channels for industrial voices on the international stage.
